Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

Who Is My Neighbor
By Dena M. Hall

It's a good thing to know your Bible
And be at church every chance you get
But what the Lord really wants from you
Is to make sure others needs are met
Everyone needs to hear the message
This I know is true
But you can't just share it
With those that appeal to you
Some think, “that person has sinned
So they are unworthy”
If that were the case, then not even I
Would deserve God's ministry
For no one falls outside
Of God's love and grace
And inside of His heart
We all hold a place
Love thy neighbor as you would thyself
It's the way we all should live
If we always follow this rule
It will be so easy to give
So just Who Is My Neighbor? I often ask
And I must always see
That it is much more than the person
Who lives next door to me
Amos 7:7-12; Psalm 82;
Colossians 1:1-14; Luke 10: 25-37
