Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

What Should We Do
By Dena M. Hall

Not a moment goes by
That we aren't put to the test
We will face many challenges
We must always do our best
If we see the shopping cart left out in the lot
Thinking, “Oh, what a disgrace”
What Should We Do?
Why not put it back in it's place
If we see someone in line
With just a loaf of bread
What Should We Do?
Why not let them go ahead
If we see someone looking sad
And notice they've shed a tear
What Should We Do?
Listen to them and make sure we hear
We often see someone in trouble
“It's not my problem” we tend to say
What Should We Do?
We could at least pray
Sometimes we can't stop to help
So a prayer for them must do
As long as you've tried something
You've done what's asked of you
Because we should never be a slave to our desires
Stopping us from giving
As long as Christ is our master
We will find a life worth living
