Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

Restore Me, Oh God
By Dena M. Hall

We are all sinners
From our very first day
Whether or not we've killed or lied
It's a sin against God anyway
And as we gather together
For Communion Sunday again
We can partake in the Bread of Life
And be forgiven of our sin
But we mustn't fall into this cycle
And not change the way we're living
Just because on Communion morning
Our Lord will be forgiving
We have to seek repentance
Accepting responsibility for what we do
And commit ourselves to Jesus
Living the way He told us to
And as we ask for redemption
“Restore Me, Oh God” we must cry
Then the Holy Spirit will guide us
So we can be pleasing in God's eye
