Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

See With New Eyes
By Dena M. Hall
11/21/2004

You will see things with new eyes when the Holy Spirit's in you
And you will know someone else's point of view
The way you looked at things before
Will be just a memory and nothing more

The bum you see on the street each day
Is a downsized man who's lost his way

The car that cut you off on the street
Is a late parent with children to meet

The waitress who didn't serve your food just right
Is the only one working the shift that night

The kid with tattoos you see as a punk
Is just a confused child whose parents are drunk

Now you understand and things fall into place
As the Holy Spirit shows you God's grace
Then you will reach out to people around you
And teach them to See With new Eyes, too
