Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

Be Filled
By Dena M. Hall

Your cup has runneth over
As full as it can be
Yet the taste is bitter
And it still seems so empty
Because all the people you've stepped on
To get where you are today
Seem to always keep on smiling
How can they feel that way
You look into their cups
You don't see anything there
What can they have to smile about
When all you see is air
For you've poured so much into yours
All the best things money can buy
Still you're not truly happy
And you can't explain why
You ask them why they keep on smiling
When their cup only contains air
They just smile and say,
“There's so much more in there
Take another look, my friend
From a different point of view
You will see Living Water
It's what really sustains you
For if you let your cup Be Filled
With the Living Water first
You will be blessed in EVERY way
And you will never again thirst”
