Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

Act In Love
By Dena M. Hall

Once again you're having a “bad day”
Nothing seems to be going your way
And, of course, someone else is to blame
Because you, yourself, are acting just the same
It seems as though everyone is in a bad mood
Which makes you just want to sit and brood
But has something ever occurred to you
Could they be acting that way because you do?
For anger is a contagious thing
And a vicious cycle it does bring
But even more powerful than anger is love
Because it comes from our Heavenly Father above
And love isn't something you can just talk about
That would be taking the easy way out
If Jesus could give his life because He loved us so
How hard could it be to let our love show?
So Act In Love just like Jesus would do
And be a good example for those around you
Soon a change you will begin to see
And those “bad days” will become history

Acts 4:5-12; Psalm 23; John 3;16-24; John 10: 11-18
