Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

Challenged By The Truth
By Dena Hall

I was challenged by the truth
As I looked in the mirror one day
Because I wasn't very proud of what I saw
And I knew a change had to home my way
Was I accepting EVERYONE
The way my Savior accepts me
Or was I passing judgment
Never seeing their full capacity
Was I a red hot or cold disciple
Did I answer to His call
Or did I let opportunity pass me by
Allowing others to fall
And did I testify
The way a true believer should
Or did I stand in silence
Not doing any good
But the most important truth
Was that I needed to have faith and never doubt
Tuning all things over to Him
Believing He will make it all work out
