Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

Christ Jesus, Make Us Your Own
By Dena M. Hall

My heart is my temple
And I welcome you there
It is there that I worship
And say every prayer
If we all open our hearts to you
It allows your love to shine through
And then your ways will be known
Christ Jesus, Make Us Your Own
Use our mouths to speak words kind
And give someone else peace of mind
Use our backs to bear someone's load
And help them travel down their road

Use our arms to hold someone tight
And let them know everything's alright
Use our hands to lift someone from the ground
And steady them so they don't fall back down
Use our legs to walk in someone else's shoes
And guide them toward the right path to choose
But most important of all
Use our voices to help others hear your call
