Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

Hunger And Thirst For Justice
By Dena M. Hall

HUNGER AND THIRST FOR JUSTICE

We hunger and thirst for justice
When all around we see despair
Many think, “I'm one, what can I do”
But you already care

For if EVERYONE that cared
Did a little something every day
We could really make a difference
And that “little thing” is pray

Pray for our leaders
To have guidance and wisdom, too
So when a situation arises
They will know what to do

Pray for the impoverished
Who need more than money alone
Pray that they become self sustaining
And know the joy of doing things on their own

Everyday you will see someone
With a need to be met
So just bow your head and pray for them
It could be the best help they will get

Matthew 5:1-12
