Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

What Must I Do
By Dena M. Hall

What must I do
Is something we often say
We want to be a good disciple
Yet we're just not sure the way
Following the laws of the Lord
Is an important thing to do
For if you obey the commandments
The rest will come easy to you
And tithing is a good way
To show the Lord we care
Because the church can use the money
To meet the many needs out there
We must also give of ourselves
In any way that we can
Whether it's just sharing our talents
Or helping our fellow man
At times giving will be uncomfortable
The sacrifice not so easy to do
So just remember how good it makes you feel
And how pleased the Lord will be with you
Mostly, he wants us to give up our worldly things
Surrendering to Him our hearts
If we walk the same path that He does
We'll know where true discipleship starts

Job 23:1-9, 16 -17; Psalm 22: 1-15;
Hebrews 4:12-16; Mark 10: 17-31
