Shine Ministry
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
-Matthew 5:14-16

To Whom Can We Go
By Dena M. Hall

To Whom Can We Go when we're lost and afraid
And nothing turned out like the plans we've made
There are so many options we can choose
But we must pick one that ensures we won't lose
Should we go to an acquaintance or friend
For sometimes they'll let you down in the end
They mean well but can speak words untrue
So their advice could be harmful to you
And surely your loved ones won't let you down
But when things get tough they might not stick around
Some are afraid to answer your cries
While others are trying to deal with their lives
Then there are things you can take to make your problems go away
But they will still be there the very next day
And they only offer temporary relief
So when they wear off you still have grief
God did provide someone we can always go to
He will be there for us no matter what we do
If we open our hearts and let Jesus dwell there
He will help us conquer any care
